Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy describes how SQSEO (sqseo.com — "we," "us," or the "Operator") processes information when you use AI Crawler Check (the "Service"), which analyzes how easily a domain you submit can be crawled by AI search engines.
By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. We may update it from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
1. What we process
- Domains you submit. When you run a scan, the domain name is sent to our scan service, which fetches publicly available pages of that domain (robots.txt, sitemaps, and a small sample of pages) to produce a crawlability report.
- Scan results. Reports (scores, detected issues, recommendations) are stored so results can be shared via link, cached, and compared over time.
- Technical logs. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention, retained for a limited period.
- Account data (if you create an account): email address and subscription status.
2. What we do not do
- We only fetch publicly accessible pages of the domain you submit; we do not bypass authentication.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use your scan results to train AI models.
3. Legal basis and retention
We process the data above to provide the Service you request (performance of a contract) and for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service. Scan results are retained while useful for the Service (for example result-sharing and history); server logs are retained for a limited security window and then deleted or aggregated.
4. Subprocessors
The Service runs on cloud infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email, and payment processors for paid plans). A current list of subprocessors is available on request.
5. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
6. Site owners
If you operate a website that was scanned through the Service: we fetch only public pages, identify our scanner honestly, respect sensible request limits, and cache results to avoid repeated fetching. Contact us to raise concerns about a specific scan.
